The 2018 release of Dalmore 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was aged in bourbon casks for around 30 years, followed by oloroso sherry butts for a further seven years and a finish in first-fill bourbon barrels.
The nose offers spicy and honeyed aromas. The palate reveals brioche, gingerbread, honey, and a medley of spices, followed by an elegantly long, warm finish.
